Meet Our Team
Kamadulski Excavating and Grading Co., Inc. since 2014
Moniger Excavating 2006-2013
I partnered with Dave Kamadulski & Ryan Fischer in early 2014. My background and core values come from growing up on a farm, a family owned and operated construction company, and serving in the military. I'm a Construction Management graduate from SIUE and proud Veteran. I'm excited to be part of a team with same values, work ethic, and respect for others that I possess. Our goal here is to continue a business built around honesty and integrity. We strive everyday on building mutual respect between our clients, employees, subcontractors, and union affiliates. Here at Kamadulski we have true understanding of people and the power of teamwork. These simple values are what I live by everyday and what this organization stands for!

JP Burns Excavating since 2008
Ryan began his career as a small business owner of a landscaping company while still in high school. Through hard work and knowledge of the business environment he was able to purchase his first bobcat at the age of 18. Seeing his potential as an equipment operator he entered the Local 520 and eventually worked his way up to Project Manager. Ryan ran the day to day operations at JP Burns Excavating before joining the Kamadulski Team in 2012. His experience in both the field and office has made him an integral part of our operations.

We work integrally with you to ensure we build what you want, how you want, when you want.
The company was built on hard work and handshakes. Although documents/contracts are now the way of the world, we take pride in the ability to state that our word carries as much weight as any signed contract.
50+ years of dependability speaks for itself.
Our extensive experience and diverse backgrounds allow us to analyze projects from all angles to run the most efficient jobsite possible.
The trucks and equipment we purchase are put to work. We own our equipment and trucking fleet 90% outright allowing for competitive rates.
The company was started in 1958 in Granite City, IL by Leo and Fannie Kamadulski. Leo spent 25 years with Terminal Railroad after his lawn business he ran on the side became lucrative enough to purchase his first backhoe. Leo’s formal education did not extend beyond the 3rd grade, yet he was able to grow his business into a multi-million dollar corporation through hard work, honesty, and this simple concept: quality service for a fair price.
Leo, Fannie, and two of their three sons, Donald and Lenny, have since passed. David, their 3rd son, now owns and operates the company. He continues to work diligently to maintain the company’s alignment with his father’s core principals.
"We strive to be your Earthwork Contractor of choice. We take pride in hard work, challenging projects, building relationships, & working safely. Kamadulski Excavating wants everyone to return home from work in the same way they came that morning. Safety is something we work on daily with our staff & subcontractors.
We will always continue to improve ourselves. At times this could be hard but nothing comes without hard work!" -David Kamadulski

"Kamadulski Excavating and Grading is a highly valued subcontractor of Contegra Construction Company. We have done business with Kamadulski Excavating and Grading for over twelve years. They do an excellent job of meeting our demanding schedules and always stay within budget. I would recommend them for any type of site work project."
Bobby Klucker // Contegra
"I have to admit I had my doubts starting that large of an earthwork project in the middle of the winter. To my pleasant surprise, Kamadulski Excavating and Grading mobilized at the job site in early January, 2014 and were able to move just under 800,000 CY of dirt, get it placed and compacted to project specifications, all within the project time constraints. As you know, 95 percent of modified proctor compaction requirements are not always easy to meet, but your crew was able to meet this compaction requirement with very little re-work required. That is outstanding work! Our team found it easy to work with your project superintendent and work force and this allowed the project to flow smoothly.
Thank you for your efforts on this project and we look forward to working with Kamadulski Excavating and Grading on future projects!! "

"This project had an extremely tight schedule with costly liquidated damages. We interviewed two contractors for the project and selected Kamadulski for several reasons. First, they came into the interview with a clear plan on how to reach our milestones. Not just “saying” they will meet the schedule, but they had takeoffs and production rates to back up their approach. Second, they have a proven track record of exceeding expectations. Finally, they have the financial security to accpmplish the large scope of work.
When we started on site, they worked through several winter delays to exceed our expectations. They simply got to work and made up for the lost time, no excuses. Delivery of the building pad is always critical and despite the weather delays, they still made our date. Site utilities also stayed ahead of schedule and were critical for the project. Instead of waiting to free up manpower, they brought in additional crews, equipment and materials to continue to work all systems simultaneously.
I would highly recommend Kamadulski for any size earthwork and site utility project. They are cooperative and always kept focused on the overall project goals, not just their own."
Corey Noder, Project Manager // S.M. Wilson
"Over the past few years I have worked with Mark Crays and Kamadulski on numerous projects involving mass earth grading, site preparation and utility installation.
I have found the staff of Kamadulski to be very knowledgeable, professional, and cooperative and to have a good attention to detail. The company takes great pride in their work and it shows with the delivery of the finished product. In addition to the above they are responsive to any changes that may be necessary and will work diligently to get the job done within the timeframe agreed upon. They have a real can-do attitude.
I would recommend Kamadulski Excavating and Grading to you without any hesitation."
